Are there any minimum order requirements?

Yes. To qualify for delivery, your order must meet a minimum rental total (delivery and labor fees are separate). Minimum order amounts vary based on your location and distance from our warehouse. If your order qualifies for delivery, a delivery fee will be applied.

Do you offer additional rental items not listed on the website?

Absolutely. If you need a specific item or service that you don’t see listed, please reach out to us at okhuapearls.info@gmail.com or 925-264-9110.
We continually expand our inventory and may have what you're looking for even if it's not posted online.

What are your payment terms?

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure all reservations.

  • There is a $50 non-refundable rental charge applied to all bookings.

  • The remaining balance is due 2–5 days before delivery.

  • Accepted payment methods: Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, and Apple Pay.

  • A credit card must be kept on file for security purposes.

  • Charge accounts are available for pre-approved clients only.

What is the rental period?

Standard pricing covers a one rental period, typically 1–2 days, depending on delivery and pickup scheduling.
If you need items for an extended period, please discuss this during your consultation or contact us at okhuapearls.info@gmail.com or 925-264-9110 for extended rental rates.
Please note: rental charges are based on time out, not usage, so select items carefully.

What is my responsibility for Okhua Pearls Luxury Rentals?

You are responsible for all rented items from the moment they are delivered until they are returned or picked up.
Additional charges apply for:

  • Damaged items

  • Missing items

  • Shortages or incomplete returns

We strongly recommend securing event rental insurance for your protection.

Are party rentals taxable in California?

Yes. In California, most party-rental items—such as tables, chairs, tents, linens, and décor—are taxable because they are considered tangible personal property.
Delivery or setup fees may be exempt if they are itemized separately on your invoice.

How should I prepare rentals for pickup?

To avoid additional fees, please prepare items in the following manner:

Tables & Chairs

  • Stack and organize them in the same condition and layout as delivered.

China, Glassware, Flatware, & Serveware

  • Rinse items so they are refuse-free, and return them to their original containers.

Linens

  • Place linens back in the original bags or bins.

  • Linens must be dry and debris-free to prevent mildew or staining.

Extra charges apply for excessive cleaning or missing containers or packaging.

What is the cancellation policy?

For standard rentals:

  • More than 30 days prior to delivery or pickup: Only the $50 non-refundable fee applies

  • Within 30 days: 25% restocking fee

  • Within 7 days: 50% restocking fee

  • Within 24 hours: 100% of the rental fee is charged

Because reserved items are prepared, staged, and packed in advance, restocking fees apply based on the timing of cancellation.

Cancellation Policy for Specialty Items

Specialty or custom-order items may carry a 100% cancellation fee, even before the 30-day window, depending on the product.
